AllSocial Privacy Policy
Effective Date: November 20, 2024
Welcome to AllSocial. Your privacy is extremely important to us, and we want you to understand how your data is managed when you use our platform. Please read this policy carefully.
1. Data Collected
AllSocial does not directly collect any personal user data. When you register on the platform, a pair of cryptographic keys (public key and private key) is generated, but we do not store any of this information. You are solely responsible for managing and securing your keys.
2. Cookies
To ensure the proper functioning of the web app, we use cookies. Cookies are small text files saved on your device to improve user experience and ensure the platform works correctly.
3. Google Analytics
AllSocial uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous statistical data about the usage of the platform. This information helps us improve our services and better understand how users interact with our app. Google Analytics may collect data such as the type of device used, geographic location (at city level), and time spent on the platform. No personal information is collected or associated with this data.
4. Uploaded Images
Images uploaded by users are managed through the external service nostr.build. AllSocial is not responsible for the storage, availability, or use of these files. Please refer to the nostr.build terms and conditions for further details.
5. Data Storage on Relays
AllSocial relies on the Nostr protocol for data management, which means that your data (such as profile links, images, and content) is stored on decentralized relays, not on servers controlled by AllSocial. We have no control over these relays and therefore cannot modify, remove, or guarantee the availability of your data once it is published.
6. Use of the Nostr Protocol
Nostr is a decentralized protocol that allows the publication of content without centralized servers. Each user has a pair of cryptographic keys: the public key is used to identify the user, while the private key is needed to sign content. It is essential that you keep your private key secure because, if compromised, others could alter your data without your consent.
7. Data Sharing
AllSocial does not share users' personal data with third parties. Since we do not store identifiable data, there is no personal information to share or sell.
8. Security
The security of your data mainly depends on how you manage your private key. Make sure not to share your private key with anyone and store it in a safe place. If you lose your private key, we will not be able to help you recover it, and you will lose access to managing your profile.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on the platform, and by continuing to use the service after such changes, you implicitly accept the new version of the policy.
10. Contact
If you have any questions or concerns about our Privacy Policy, you can contact us via email at contactsite@allsocial.me.
Thank you for choosing AllSocial! We respect your privacy and are committed to ensuring maximum transparency and security in managing your data.
